The Islamic War On Women Continues

by JASmius

Seven Kurdish women crossed their legs; seven Kurdish women lost their heads:

The Islamic State (IS) militants have executed seven women in Mosul for refusing temporary marriage, or ‘nikah’.

Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) official from Mosul Saed Mamuzini told BasNews that IS are demanding women accept nikah with insurgents. Nikah is a temporary marriage which permits the participants to have sex.

“Many women refuse to have sex with IS militants, in which cases they are arrested. The militants often kill them,” said Mamuzini.

“Today [Saturday] seven women from Mosul were killed at the IS base of Ghazlan,” he added. Mamuzini claimed that these women had refused to enter in nikah with IS insurgents.

IS tell women that if they have sex with IS insurgents within the contract of nikah, it will be considered jihad for women.

What an enticement, huh?

But of course, it's America that has a "rape culture," and it's conservatives that are waging a "war on women" by refusing to aid, abet, and bankroll liberals' war on children.  So, officially, those seven Kurdish women are actually doing an episode of the Iraqi version of The View or something.  Kinda gives the phrase "talking heads" a whole different connotation, doesn't it?

And also, above all else, there's ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY NOTHING ISLAMIC about the, um, Islamic State, as former Vermont Governor, Democrat presidential candidate, and DNC, er, "head" Howard Dean insisted recently.

How egregiously stupid is this desperately pathetic denial?  Bill Maher agreed with conservative Wall Street Journal columnist Bret Stephens and tore Chairman How a new one over it to his face:

Bill Maher tonight confronted Howard Dean for saying earlier this month that the Paris terrorists are “about as Muslim as I am,” challenging him on the ideology of the terrorists and what many Muslims actually believe.

Dean told Maher that “the usual suspects distorted what I said,” arguing that calling these “subhuman… murderers” Islamic is giving them a victory. Maher and guest Bret Stephens shot back that it happens to be an accurate label.

Maher cited polls about certain beliefs in the Muslim community about marriage and told him he can’t possibly be “about as Muslim’ as extremism terrorists if he doesn’t believe those same things.

Dean just kept dismissing it, saying that would be like calling abortion bombers “Christian jihadists.”

Oh, you mean like Andrew Sullivan's continued use of the term "Christianist," Howie?  And when was the last abortuary bombing?  Sometime in the 1990s, as I recall.  And on the rare-as-hen's-lips occasion when there is one, the evangelical community immediately denounces and condemns it, rather than sitting there in accessorizing silence, or celebrating with candy orgies like Muslims did in the West Bank after 9/11.

It makes one wonder why Western leftists are so frantic to deny the reality of Islamic Fundamentalism and that it is our self-declared archenemy.  Is their ideological land-of-make-believe so solipsistically ingrained that they psychologically cannot abide such a central tenet of it being so, well, explosively disproven, or is their dhimmism really that hardcore?  Or is it fear of what the "Muzzies" might do to them that motivates them, which would be to tacitly admit their own, quite literal "Islamophobia"?  After all, pointing out the speck in the eyes of others is easy, but plucking the log out of your own is exceedingly hard.

I don't know if the execution of these seven Kurdish women for the capital crime of refusing to be willingly raped was brought up on Maher's program, but I imagine "YEEEEAAARRRRGHHH!!!" would have said that they should have just "lay back and enjoy it".  Right, Howie?
