NFL Week 15 Predictions

by JASmius

LAST WEEK STRAIGHT UP: 11-5
LAST WEEK vs. SPREAD: 10-6

SEASON STRAIGHT UP: 135-72-1
SEASON vs. SPREAD: 106-102

A Cardinal loss to the Rams this past Thursday would have put Seattle in first place in the NFC West with a victory over the San Francisco 49ers today at Century Link Field.  I predicted that outcome, but credit where credit is due, Arizona's defense held St. Louis to a couple of field goals, their third-string quarterback limped them to four field goals, and they escaped Riot Central with a 12-6 victory.

All of which means the Champs have to win today and next week at the Toaster to run down the Cards, and then win out back home against those same Rams (with whom we have something of a score to settle) to pocket another NFC West title.  Which I am convinced is what is going to happen.

For analysis of today's Niners-'hawks rematch, see the one I wrote two and half weeks ago.  Nothing's really changed.

The two games we'll be tracking closely here in the Pacific Northwest is Green Bay at Buffalo and Dallas at Philadelphia.  Losses by both visiting teams will enable the Seahawks to not just take the NFC West title by winning out, but also secure the NFC's #1 seed once again.  And y'all know what that means.

Again.
