Obamacare and the Rule of Man

By Douglas V. Gibbs

The rule of law is based on the concept of natural law, and the idea that the law of the land is to be followed, including the processes that accompany it.  The rule of man is when law is living and breathing, changing with ease at the whims of the people, the politicians, and the judges based on what they want in relation to their own wealth, power, and biased opinions.

With Executive Orders, President Barack Obama has been changing the Affordable Care Act at will, acting legislatively to appease those who he believes deserves a break from the law he is using to break the back of liberty, and the common man.  Regulatory agencies are changing policies at will.  In most cases, judges are acting as accomplices. . . but even the judges realize when the executive branch has gone too far. . .

COURT: IRS Changes to Obamacare 'Arbitrary, Capricious and Abuse of Discretion'...
Money is changing hands, deals are being made, and the population is falling deeper into the grip of an authoritarian government being guided by a collectivist ideology that is determined to destroy choice, individuality, personal responsibility, and freedom - while gaining power, and slipping more money into their own pockets, and the pockets of those who ally with them.

As for Obama's executive orders, and the regulatory agencies, amending the Affordable Care Act law at will:

Article I, Section 1 of the United States Constitution - "All legislative Powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States."

Obama and the regulatory agencies do not have the legal authority to be changing the law at will.  But they know that, and they don't care.  The law is not their concern.  The fundamental transformation of America into a system the Founding Fathers would not recognize is the goal of the Democrats. . . that, and the silencing, and elimination, of all who dare to oppose them.
