Judge Strikes Down Arizona's Ban On Homosexual Marriage

by JASmius

The SCOTUS sewed the Crisco whirlwind, and now the Grand Canyon State is the first to reap it:

A federal judge has cleared the way for legally recognized gay marriages in Arizona by ruling that the state's ban on same-sex unions is unconstitutional.

The ruling Friday by U.S. District Judge John Sedwick bars state officials from enforcing a 1996 state law and a 2008 voter-approved constitutional amendment that outlawed gay marriage.

Sedwick said in his ruling that because the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals had already ruled against gay marriage bans in Nevada and Idaho, he did not need to give a lengthy reason for his ruling and was bound by the appeals' court decision.
"A stay of this decision to allow defendants to appeal is not warranted. It is clear that an appeal to the 9th Circuit would not succeed. It is also clear ... that the High Court will turn a deaf ear on any request for relief from the 9th Circuit's decision," Sedwick said.

Put another way, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals IS the Supreme Court of the United States.  So [BLEEP] you, Nevada, [BLEEP] you, Idaho, [BLEEP] you, Arizona, [BLEEP] you, Arizona voters, and [BLEEP] you, Founding Fathers who dared pre-emptively claim that the federal judiciary doesn't have the power to dictate State laws, you're all going to take it up the ass, and you're going to like it - or else.

I'll let Jimmy Z take us out:

There is no stopping it now, as the judge in this case decided. Homosexual marriage, the most disgusting and reprehensibly immoral "union" of depraved individuals imaginable, is the law of the land. It is an insult to God, and this is yet another reason that God's judgment is on America. Pray like you mean it, and turn to God, not man, to turn this country around.

Oh, I don't know, Jimmy; there's still pedophilic marriage, beastialitic marriage, vegesexual marriage, and necrophilic marriage to go.  Is your imagination really that limited?

It's almost as if this book was divinely inspired.
