Founding Fathers Called Racists By Nation of Islam Grade School Handout

by JASmius

"Playing the race card" is compulsive for lefties.  An addiction, really.  Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, and Barack Obama play it all the time because they know naught how to do anything else, even though it's been so overdone that any and all perjorative impact it may once have had has long since been expended.  Now it's just tiresome, bigoted sneering at best, "white" noise at worst.

But guess what?  A (public, natch) school in Tennessee is teaching its students to be good little leftwing racists and Ameriphobes, claiming the Founding Fathers were all racists (i.e. more psychological projection).  The imparter in question is teaching this garbage by means of a handbook from the Nation of Islam:

The mother of an eight-year-old wants to know why a Tennessee school teacher gave her child a handout from the Nation of Islam that portrayed the presidents on Mount Rushmore as being racists.

Sommer Bauer tells me her son was given The Nation of Islam handout at Harold McCormick Elementary School in Elizabethton. The handout asked “What does it take to be on Mount Rushmore?"

The handout then explains that George Washington hailed from Virginia, a “prime breeder of black people.” Of Theodore Roosevelt, it was alleged he called Africans “ape-like.” There were also disparaging remarks made of Thomas Jefferson (he enslaved 200 Africans) and Abraham Lincoln.

Abraham Lincoln. The Great Emancipator. And even he isn't spared this vicious, racist demonization.

Concludes Bill Bissell:

The mother of student who saw the handbook given to her by her son isn't taking this sitting down. The superintendent looked alarmed at the hand book wondering why the handbook is even in the school, but the alarm has already been sounded.

There is a Tennessee based organization called" Parents For Truth in Education". They do not see any connection between the handbook and Common Core, but they are now on high alert.

The son of Sommer Bauer should be commended for letting his mom see this trash. Any of you parents may want to look into this, and see if this Islamic Nation garbage is being taught in your child's school.

Oh, come now, Bill, what would ever give you the silly idea that smearing the Founding Fathers could ever have the remotest connection to Common Core Curriculum Programs (CCCP)?  Clearly you're just imagining things.
