I have a whole slew of articles I send out, and many of them land at Canada Free Press. Below is a recent comment on an article I wrote about Obamacare, and the person making the comment not only nails it, but shows an uncommon understanding of the damage caused by the 17th Amendment ratified in 1913.

The political parties which are controlled by special interest groups have supplanted the State legislative bodies. That happened in 1912 with passage of the 17th amendment. The states prior to 1912 had much more control over how the US Senators voted on bills in Congress. I surmise that control was lost after 1912 and the US Senators came under the control of special interest groups and the respective political parties which became controlled by special interest groups. The end result is US Senators who have no accountability to their home States and who have become free agents who can act against the best interests of their State leg bodies. Thus the State legislative bodies have been supplanted which is why Obamacare got passed.
Had the States had any say so in the vote for Obamacare, it would never have passed.
But the special interests who want Big Govt and who control the Dem party prevailed.
The business plan of the Dem party is to wreck havoc so they can cement their control and stay on top of the heap of wrecked remains that once was the USA. Socialists and fascists which is what the Dems are always manage to wreck a country while they concentrate the wealth and control it all within their party. Of course the RINOs did not seem to oppose it with any fervor.
