HIGH:  GOP picks up Montana, South Dakota, West Virginia, Alaska, Louisiana, Iowa, Arkansas, Colorado, Michigan, and North Carolina, but loses Kansas, for a net gain of nine seats and a 54-46 majority in the next U.S. Senate.

MEDIAN:  GOP picks up Arkansas, Montana, South Dakota, West Virginia, Alaska, Louisiana, Iowa, and Colorado, but loses Kansas, for a gain of seven seats and a 52-48 majority in the next U.S. Senate.

LOW:  GOP picks up Alaska, Louisiana, Montana, South Dakota, and West Virginia, but the Democrats pick up Georgia and Kansas, for a net GOP gain of three seats, leaving the Democrats to retain a 52-48 majority in the next U.S. Senate.

Mark Udall falls slightly behind Cory Gardener in Colorado, moving that State from "leaning Democrat" to "leaning Republican".  However, Mark Pryor's regaining four points against Tom Cotton causes Arkansas to slip from "Solid Republican" to "Leaning Republican".  So, in effect, the most likely outcome is an extra seat but the floor has fallen by a seat as well.

My final picks will come next week.  I'll predict right now that you probably won't like them, and neither will I.  But I'm not here to blow sunshine up anybody's backside.  I'm the twenty-first century Jeremiah, and like Morpheus....
