HIGH:  GOP picks up Montana, South Dakota, West Virginia, Alaska, Louisiana, Iowa, Arkansas, Colorado, Michigan, and North Carolina, but loses Kansas, for a net gain of nine seats and a 54-46 majority in the next U.S. Senate.

MEDIAN:  GOP picks up Arkansas, Montana, South Dakota, West Virginia, Alaska, Louisiana, and maybe Iowa, but loses Kansas, for a gain of five or six seats and either a 51-49 majority or a 50-50 split in the next U.S. Senate.

LOW:  GOP picks up Alaska, Arkansas, Montana, South Dakota, and West Virginia, but the Democrats pick up Georgia and Kansas, for a net GOP gain of three seats, leaving the Democrats to retain a 52-48 majority in the next U.S. Senate.

Eh.  The Georgia race between Republican David Purdue and the vacuous progeny of the late Sam Nunn for the seat once held by her dear old dad has tightened a couple of points, but I'm not sweating it.  Of greater significant interest is the fact that Thom Tillis, GOP Speaker of the North Carolina House of Representatives, has closed back to within two points of Donk incumbent Kay Hagen.  If the Republicans are going to "run the table," this is one seat they pretty much have to win.

22 days (three weeks, for those of you in Malaga, Washington) to go, and the wire grows ever closer....
