NFL Week 3 Kickoff

by JASmius

Note to feminazis: None beaten up by Ray Rice or Ray McDonald.

The Atlanta Falcons definitely appear to be better than they were last year.  But then, they could hardly not be.  "Better" defined as just good enough to upset elite teams at home (37-34 over the Saints in Week 1) and not nearly good enough to beat playoff teams on the road (24-10 thumping at Cincinnati in Week 2).  Of course, New Orleans couldn't hold a fourth quarter lead against the Cleveland f'ing Browns last Sunday, so the Saints may not have the defense to remain in the league's elite.

At any rate, while the Falcons may be both over- and underrated, that verdict is already in on the Bucs: they suck, as usual.  So take Atlanta and the points at the Georgia Dome.

Tampa
Atlanta* (-6.5)

Even I, with my moribund prognosticatory start, can't screw this one up, right?

Right?
