Kurdish Leader To Obama: "We Need Weapons That Don't Shoot Blanks"

by JASmius

This is one "See I Told You So" I really didn't want to collect:

A top Kurdish representative to the U.S. claims that the Obama administration is not doing enough to supply vital advanced weapons to Kurdish peshmerga security forces in their fight against Islamic State militants – amid signs that other nations may be eclipsing the U.S. in their level of support.

"To this point, we have only received light arms, nothing effective against ISIS militants,” Karwan Zebari, director of U.S. congressional affairs for the Kurdish Regional Government (KRG), told Fox News.

“We need effective equipment to go on the offensive. We need to be going after them,” he said, adding: “There are two heads to this snake that need to be cut off. The one in Iraq is Mosul and the other in Syria is Raqqa.”

What have I been saying for several weeks now, folks?  That Barack Obama does not want to fight or oppose the Islamic State but wants to be seen as doing so while actually giving them a free hand.  This now evidently extends to U.S. aid to any entity that might actually and genuinely attempt to do so.

Tell me if this doesn't sound familiar:

Is this accidental, or deliberate?....He wants to look like he is fighting ISIS but it looks like Obama is actually helping the be-headers.

Looks to me like Obama really doesn't want to hurt ISIS, but look like he's doing it. In my opinion there is a super con job underway here. Its not really incompetence but deliberate sinister planning a foot, and we may actually see it completed right here.

Doesn't make me a prophet.  It makes me three things: (1) cognizant of who the enemy is; (2) knowledgeable about that enemy; and (3) willing to eschew the comforting temptation of self-delusion and instead accept the horrifying reality of the situation sixty-two million assclowns inflicted upon the nation two years ago: that we are under de facto foreign occupation, are going to be destroyed, and there is nothing we can do about it.

I'm still gonna go down shouting, "SEE, I TOLD YOU SO!!!", though.
