Dick Morris: 'Benghazi Problem' About To Blow Up For Hillary

by JASmius

Well, yeah, I guess, if you still actually consider the Empress to possess any kind of political viability:

The House Select Committee on Benghazi held its first hearing Wednesday and political analyst Dick Morris tells Newsmax TV that the "Benghazi problem" is about to hit former secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

"She hasn't hit that bump in the road yet really," Morris told J.D.Hayworth and John Bachman on "America's Forum on Newsmax TV Wednesday. "She's about to hit big time the Benghazi problem."

"First of all, you have the hearings," he explained. "You have the report that there was a document dump going on before the hearings in the basement of the State Department overseen by her chief counsel, Cheryl Mills."

"Then, in addition, you have the televised testimony, not a testimony but appearances of the three Benghazi guards, on Bret Baier's [Fox News] interview, where they say clearly that the commander told them to stand down, stay put and not go to the aid of the consulate," he said."

When they finally got there — disobeying orders, and went there — it was half an hour after the raid started and the ambassador was dead," he added.

Morris explained that there are other issues such as "whether there was air support, why there wasn't, and then the core question, which is why did she spend two weeks lying to the American people telling them this was about a video that everybody now dismisses is just ridiculous."

And so on and so on.  So the Benghazi hearings are all about Hillary, ultimately, hm?  Well, now, that's interesting, because I thought they were supposed to ultimately be about Barack Obama.  Remember that, legally speaking, a POTUS is responsible for everything his/her administration does.  Everything.  So doesn't that make The One responsible for Benghazigate, not primarily or even tangentially Hillary Clinton?  After all, she worked for him; hers wasn't the final call on whether to send help to the Benghazi consulate or stand down and let the jihadists massacre Ambassador Stevens and Messrs. Smith, Dougherty, and Woods; it was Red Barry's.  And he was pushing the BS about the "Islamophobic video" even more than she was.  So why would Hillary end up holding the bag?

Because that's how O has played this.  In fact, the more I think about it as I look back on how Benghqazigate has unfolded, the more masterful his maneuvering Mrs. Clinton into taking the fall for Benghazi in his place becomes.  I'd compare her to Lois Lerner except that Double-L is a loyal minion, whereas Hillary is a hated rival.  Or was.  It's simply breathtaking to see La Clinton Nostra outclassed to this degree.  Did you ever think you'd see the day when they'd be made to look like rank amateurs?

But doesn't this, in turn, simply redundantly illustrate what 2008 already exposed?  Namely, that Hillary Clinton is perhaps the single most overrated pol in American politics.  And shouldn't we feel really foolish for having feared her for all these years?  And isn't it even sillier to continue to fear her, or consider her a frontrunner for anything except the Miss Jowls Pageant?

Then imagine her plight: marrying the guy she thinks will make her POTUS one day, putting up with all his serial adulteries, being the "blue plate special" puppeteer for her husband's first biennium, then sitting interminably through a tedious Senate term, then FINALLY she looks to be getting that to which she's believed herself entitled all her life....only to have it submarined away from her not just by somebody she considered her inferior, but somebody that didn't just beat her, but whipped her fat, pasty ass.  Having to go to work for him at a job she cared about even less than her Senate seat was pure running up the score.

And now the Empress is to wind up as one of Barack Obama's scandal "fall guys," while the way is clear for O to either decree himself a third term or watch Senator Warren walk away with the Donk nomination that will never be Hillary's, and never was.

Very few things make me smile now days.....

....but that does.
