The Rage & Revenge Of The Middle Class

by JASmius

Barack Obama and the Democrats are facing a disaster at the voting booth in November. Yet Obama and his Kool-Aid drinking Democratic supporters are so ideological, delusional and out of touch with middle-class America, they don’t understand why this is happening.

I couldn't help but notice this little bit of JASmius Echo Syndrome:

What made the light bulb go off?  What turned the middle class against Obama?  In a word: ObamaCare.  The reason is simple.  ObamaCare is no longer a theory in a campaign speech.  America's middle class is now living and experiencing ObamaCare.

This, of course, is why Ted Cruz's defunding/government shutdown jihad a year ago was doomed to failure, just as I said it would be.  Although ObamaCare was unpopular, that unpopularity was as shallow as it was broad because the Unaffordable Care-Less Act hadn't taken effect yet.  It was still an abstraction.  It wasn't until millions of cancellation notices and healthcare.com debacles and sticker terror waves began landing on kitchen tables that it became a reality to the "middle class".  That was the time when public support for Defundageddon would have manifested and been stir-uppable.  But Senator Cruz pulled the trigger too soon, the shutdown pre-empted the first month's fallout from the ObamaCare cataclysm, sucking all the spine of House Republicans for the later Sequestergeddon showdown, and the rest is history (no matter how many years ago that all seems).

I'm quite sure that Wayne was right there with Senator Cruz and the Suicide Caucus vilifying the "surrender caucus".  I wonder if he realizes he's belatedly made my point for me.

Nah, I doubt it.  He's doubtless getting warmed up to help vilify the unified GOP congressional majority next year for lacking the "courage" to overcome the inarguable numerical disadvantage Senate 'Pubbies will still have unless they leave Harry (G)Reid's nuked filibuster option in place, or even expand it.

Hmmm; maybe I should be doing some cardio work myself.
