General Killed in Afghanistan

By Douglas V. Gibbs

The narrative in the Obama administration is that the war on terrorism is over, we are no longer in Afghanistan, and except for those crazy people that call themselves the Islamic State, Muslims love us.  Therefore, to protect the narrative, the connection of ISIS to the Koran, or any deaths in Afghanistan caused by any member of the Islamic community (including our allies), are being downplayed and ignored by the White House, and the complicit national media.

United States Army General Harold Greene was gunned down, and murdered, by an Afghan Army soldier.  We have heard very little from Washington regarding this incident, and the media is not touching this because the gunman was not acting in aggression during a conflict in the field.  The attack happened inside a Kabul military training academy, donned by some to be "Afghanistan's West Point."  The killing was not only committed by what we may consider a "friendly," but was done so inside-the-wire.

The killer fired four bullets in the back of a U.S. Army general.  The shooter is considered an ally, and a peaceful Muslim.

"As terrible as today is -- and it is a terrible day, a terrible tragedy," Pentagon spokes-admiral John Kirby said of the attack that took the general's life and wounded as many as 17 other military personnel (we still don't know how seriously), "we haven't seen in the course of the last year or so ... a 'spate' of these insider threat attacks. I think that's testament to the good work authorities have done."

In other words, they are considering this an isolated incident, an example of work-place violence.

While the officials state the motives of the shooter will never be known, there is a common denominator among these kinds of incidents the media, and the Democrat Party (and many of the Republicans) fail to recognize, or consider (either by stupidity, or by design).  That common factor is Islam.  The Koran.  The false prophet Muhammad.

Muslims lie, they deceive, and they will pretend to be your friend so that they can kill you.  Yes, I understand that many of the people in these regions are Muslim because they know nothing else, and abhor the violent nature of their "religion," but they can still say "no" to the violence, they can still deny the violence, and even if it means their death, they still have the choice to stand against the madness.

Peaceful Muslims are silent.  They are irrelevant, by choice.  They do nothing to stop the carnage, just like the peaceful, and fearful, Germans during the Third Reich.

We are not willing to admit what we are up against when it comes to Islam.  ISIS in Iraq is a prime example of the true nature of those that take Islam to the far extent of its violent nature.  The people are fearful, and many do indeed wish for peace, but as long as they embrace the violent teachings of Muhammad, or refuse to organize and stand against the leadership, Islam will continue to wage jihad, and act against all non-Muslim entities.

The nature of political Islam leaves us with few choices on how to deal with the religion.

In 2011, a Pentagon "Red Team" led by Army behavioral scientist Maj. Jeffrey Bordin produced a report called "A Crisis in Trust and Cultural Incompatibility." In an unusual act of honesty, this report eventually identifies culture clash as a driver behind the then-rising number of Afghan security force attacks on U.S. and other Western troops. Recommendation No. 40 out of 58 says: "Better educate U.S. soldiers in the central tenets of Islam as interpreted and practiced in Afghanistan. Ensure that this instruction is not a sanitized, politically correct training package, but rather includes an objective and comprehensive assessment of the totalitarian nature of the extreme theology practiced among Afghans." (Notice that's "Islam," not "Islamism.")

The White House response to that report was to remove Bordin from the team and reclassify the report.

The Muslim Brotherhood infiltration of the Obama administration, and the democrats themselves, would have it no differently.

Our troops have a dangerous set of rules of engagement they must follow, essentially requiring our fine military personnel to walk on eggshells so we don't piss off the Muslims, be they allies, or not.

Our troops are dhimmis, in these countries, relegating themselves down to the same level of those wretched, self-censoring non-Muslims repressed and stunted by Islamic law.

Submission to Islam's culture and tenets, which directly conflict with and contradict Judeo-Christian and Western non-religious principles, are a threat to the constitutional principles we are affirmed to preserve and protect.

We are being told to surrender through Political Correctness, in the name of "respecting Islam" and "avoiding arrogance".

General Greene was helping the "peaceful Muslims" so that the Taliban, and al-Qaeda, would no longer be a threat to them, so that they may perhaps not have to live in fear anymore.  And one member of that alliance, one member of the people we were trying to help, shot General Greene, as he was just standing there.  Behind closed doors, I am sure many of the "peaceful" Muslims were celebrating the victory of Allah over the man that represented the Great Devil.

While attacks on Western troops has diminished, which coincides with the reduction of troops in Afghanistan, in the past 12 months, Afghan "allies" have murdered eight U.S. troops out of about 30,000 remaining in the country. This works out to roughly 27 murders per 100,000 -- a regional rate exceeded only by murderous Central America or southern Africa! (By comparison, Afghanistan's annual murder rate per 100,000 is 6.5; the U.S. rate is 4.8.)

Afghanistan, front-line and inside-the-wire, is the murder capital of the world.

General Greene is the latest victim because this administration has made the mistake of trusting the followers of the false prophet Muhammad.
