According to the progressives, proponents of the homosexual agenda, and anyone else to the left of center, you have a right to free speech unless you wish to speak out against gay marriage. You have a right to your own thoughts, as long as you don't believe homosexuality is a sin. You have a right to run your business as you please, as long as you bow down to what the gay agenda desires from you. You have religious freedom, as long as you don't dare say anything, or do anything, that reveals you think homosexuality is a sin. Conform, or be silenced, or worse. The courts will shut you down and silence you, unless you conform to the politicization of immorality. Even a majority vote by the people is subject to scrutiny, and can be overturned if it dares to defy the homosexual behavior. Just ask the people who voted in favor of Proposition 8 in California, or anybody in any State that has tried to pass legislation defining marriage as between a man and a woman. If you dare stand up against the gay lobby, you will be labeled a hater, a bigot, and you will be shut down.
That is the message we are receiving. And they claim it is to protect the poor, well-funded, extremely effective gay lobby.
After all, don't you know that sexual behavior is the same as race, creed, and color of skin? Don't you know that the destruction of the traditional foundations of marriage is akin to being able to ride anywhere you want on a bus? Don't you know that forcing people to accept the gay lifestyle through dictatorial laws and intrusive court rulings is the same as integration during the civil rights movement? Why, we are told that you anti-gay people even daring to think that two men or two women forcing upon a church their lifestyle is wrong is akin to having white only drinking fountains.
The absurdity is incredible, to say the least.
The peaceful gay lobby is anything but.
With all of what I just wrote understood, and providing context for the maddening slippery slope we are sliding down, the following stories should now take on a whole new meaning.

The message is that all dissenting opinion regarding gay rights is rejected, and a moot point. Conform, agree, or shut up - or else they will go after you with the full force of the government behind them to force you into compliance.
Long live the rising gay empire. Now kneel.
